鼻腔総鼻道内に生じた異所性歯牙の1例

A case of an ectopic tooth in the common nasal meatus

はじめに

　異所性歯牙とは，通常とは異なる部位に萌出した歯牙のことをいう。下顎頭，下顎骨筋突起，眼窩，硬口蓋，鼻腔内などに萌出する^1）が，鼻腔内の萌出は稀である。今回われわれは，総鼻道内に発生した逆性歯牙の1例を経験したので，文献的考察をふまえて報告する。

　Ectopic tooth is a tooth erupted in an unusual site. We describe a rare case of ectopic tooth erupted in common nasal meatus. A 15-year-old girl diagnosed with a left intranasal tumor presented for treatment. We identified tumor in left common nasal meatus, and it was shown as a calcified tumor by CT. Extraction was performed eight months later. When ectopic tooth is suspected, proper interview, examination, and sharing information, including possibility of complications are important. Appropriate timing is required for extraction, and surgical indication should be understood, particularly in case of children.
