耳介後上部に発生した神経鞘腫の1例

A case of schwannoma occurred in the posterior upper part of the auricle

はじめに

　神経鞘腫はSchwann細胞から発生する良性腫瘍で，四肢，躯幹，頭頸部など，身体のあらゆる部位に発生する^1）。頭頸部領域に発生する神経鞘腫の好発部位は，脳神経，交感神経幹，頸神経叢，腕神経叢などであり，耳介に発生することは稀である。

　今回われわれは，左耳介後部に発生した神経鞘腫の稀な1例を経験したので報告する。

　We report a rare case of a schwannoma that occurred in the posterior upper part of the auricle. A 76-year-old man visited our hospital with the chief complaint of a left postauricular mass that had gradually increased in size over three years ago. The mass was smooth on the surface, elastic, hard, and non-tender. CT and MRI showed a low-density area and an irregular low-]intensity area on T1 weighted image and a mixture of some cyst-like high-intensity areas and flow void-like no-signal area on T2 weighted image, respectively. Surgical resection was performed under general anesthesia. Histopathological examination revealed schwannoma. Postoperative course is uneventful.
