副鼻腔ムコール症の1症例

Mucormycosis of the Maxillary Sinus:Report of a Case

I．緒言

　真菌感染症は近年増加傾向にあり，耳鼻咽喉科領域においても同様で，とくに副鼻腔においても数多くの報告がなされるようになった。しかしながらムコール症は比較的稀な疾患であり，また宿主の免疫能低下などに併発するためきわめて予後不良であるとされている。今回われわれは急性骨髄性白性病（以下AMLと略す）に合併し不幸な転帰をとった副鼻腔ムコール症の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 36-year-old woman with mucormycosis of the left maxillary sinus was reported. The disease was found when she was treated acute myelo-cytic leukemia with chemotherapy, and her white blood cell count was 300/cmm.

Resection and local administration of Ampho-tericin B were done, and postoperative course was satisfactory. However, acute myelocytic leu-kemia deteriorated after treatment, she died of respiratory failure.
