I．緒言

　鼻咽腔血管線維腫は比較的稀な疾患ではあるが文献上の報告は多数みられる。病理組織学的には良性腫瘍ではあるが，易出血性で部位的にも全摘しにくく再発も起こりやすいことから，臨床的には悪性的な取扱いを受けている。またこの腫瘍は思春期男子に発生することがほとんどで女子には少ないとされている。このため女子症例についての臨床経過や病理所見などを詳細に報告しているものはほとんどない。

　今回われわれはこの稀な女子の鼻咽腔血管線維腫を経験したので，その経過を述べるとともに男子症例との病理組織所見の比較ならびに若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A very rare case of juvenile angiofibroma in the nasopharynx in a female was reported. A 12-year-old girl complained of nasal obstruction of the left side for 3 months. The left choana wasfilled with a smooth surfaced white mass, and juvenile angiofibroma originating from the nasal cavity was suspected and the tumor was surgically resected under general anesthesia.

　The difference of the histopathological findings between female and male case which were experienced in our hospital was discussed.

　In conculusion, in this female case the tumor has more rich fibrous tissue element than vascular one. The capillary in the vascular element in this female has more thick wall than male case, but endothelial cells were scarce.
