内腔上皮下にリンパ組織を伴う喉頭蓋嚢胞の2例—鰓性嚢胞との関連について

Two Cases of Epiglottic Cyst with Subepithelial Lymphoid Tissue: Discussion from a Viewpoint of Branchial Origin

I．はじめに

　喉頭蓋嚢胞は稀なものではなく，喉頭嚢胞の中で最も多く，主にその舌面に生じる。またその多くは病理組織学的に貯留嚢胞や類表皮嚢胞であることはよく知られている。最近われわれは喉頭蓋嚢胞の臨床診断のもとに手術を行い，病理組織学的に内腔を覆う上皮は重層扁平上皮で，その上皮下にリンパ組織を有する症例を2例経験した。これらの症例を報告するとともに，文献的考察を加えてその成因や診断に関する問題点などについて検討した。

The cysts were successfully removed with laryn-gomicrosurgical technique. The histopathological study suggested that the first case was probably a branchial cyst, and the second an epidermoid cyst.

Epiglottic cyst is a common laryngeal lesion which is found on a glossal surface of the epiglot-tis. Most of them are histopathologically diagnosed as retention cyst or epidermoid cyst.

It is generally accepted that an epiglottic cyst originated in the branchial organs is very rare. However, one of the presented cases was thought to be a branchial cyst histopathologically.
