口腔咽頭・食道異物例の臨床的検討

A clinical study of the cases with oral, pharyngeal and esophageal foreign bodies

はじめに

　口腔から食道までの異物例は耳鼻咽喉科ばかりでなく，内科や時間外救急外来を受診する疾患でもある。通常は外来で摘出できることが多いが，なかには入院のうえで緊急手術を要する例もあり，迅速な対応が要求される。

　今回われわれは，当院における口腔咽頭食道異物診療の現況を把握し，今後の異物対応の一助とする目的で，最近7年間に当院を受診し，口腔咽頭食道領域に異物を確認できた症例に対して臨床的検討を行ったので報告する。

　We investigated 161 patients with oral, pharyngeal and esophageal foreign bodies who visited our hospital between 2007 and 2013. Of the 161 patients, 5 had the foreign bodies in oral cavity, 52 in palatine tonsil, 44 in tongue root, 18 in hypophaynx and 42 in esophagus. Fish bone was the most common foreign body which was occupied 70.8％ of all cases. Most of the foreign bodies in oral cavity and pharynx were easily removed under direct vision or flexible endoscopy. Removal of the esophageal foreign bodies were recently performed by the endoscopy for the upper digestive tract.
