はじめに

　石灰沈着性頸長筋腱炎は嚥下痛，頸部痛や頸部可動域制限を主症状とする比較的稀な疾患である。咽後膿瘍や急性頸椎炎との鑑別が重要であるが，環椎軸椎前方の石灰化像が特徴的所見とされている。今回われわれは石灰沈着性頸長筋腱炎の2例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 47-year-old male and a 62-year-old female visited our hospital with the chief complaint of posterior neck pain. In each case, the increased width of the retropharyngeal space without ringed enhancement of the surrounding area and calcification of soft tissue anterior to the C1 and C2 vertebral bodies were identified on CT, and the high intensity areas of the retropharyngeal space on T2-weighted images in MRI. The symptoms resolved about one week after conservative treatment with anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications. The clinical courses of both cases were uneventful until now.
