Ingested foreign bodies are common otorhinolaryngological emergencies, most notably fish bones. These foreign bodies usually are easily removed via a direct endoscope. But when it migrates into soft tissue, detection and its removal become much difficult. We reported a rare case of 2-cm fish bone which was so thin and sharp like needle that it migrated through soft tissue in the neck after penetration of middle pharyngeal mucosa. The bone was detected only by high resolution computed tomography(CT). We removed it surgically with lateral neck incision immediately after it was located by CT.
