当科における魚骨異物症例の検討

Statistical review of fish-bone foreign bodies in otolaryngological regions

Ⅰ．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科の日常診療において咽頭異物はしばしば遭遇する疾患であり，その大部分は魚骨である。熊本県天草地方では魚食の機会が多く，魚骨異物の症例は多い。今回，当科における魚骨異物症例について統計的観察を行ったので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Between 2004 and 2007, 117 cases of fish-bone foreign bodies in otolaryngological regions were treated in our department. In 94％ cases, fish bones were seen on direct visualization or by laryngoscopic examination. Computed tomography（CT）was useful for detecting fish bones if no foreign bodies were found by fiberscopic examination.
