無呼吸発作と呼吸困難を呈した乳児舌根囊胞の1例

A Cyst of the Base of Tongue in Infant with Severe Dyspnea―A Case Report―

I．はじめに

　乳幼児の呼吸障害をきたす上気道疾患として，舌根囊胞は比較的稀な疾患であるが，咽頭部の狭窄，喉頭蓋の圧迫により重篤な呼吸障害の原因となり得る。

　今回われわれは，上気道炎の合併により著明な呼吸障害を呈した生後3か月女児の舌根囊胞症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A 3-month-old girl was complaining of inspiratory stridor. Laryngeal fiberscopy showed a cystic mass at the midline of the base of tongue. CT scan showed a heterogeneous tumor at the base of tongue that wasnot enhanced by contrast medium.

　The resection of tumor by oral approach was performed with Nd-YAG lazer. After the operation,she was released from inspiratory stridor and severe dyspnea.
