Ⅰ　はじめに

　舌根部囊胞は，舌根部甲状舌管囊胞や舌根部貯留囊胞など舌根部にできる囊胞の総称で，比較的稀な疾患である^1,2）。新生児期から乳児期に発生する舌根部囊胞は，呼吸障害や哺乳障害をきたすことがあり，早期診断治療が必要である^3～7）。

　今回，われわれは囊胞開窓術後に再発をきたし再手術を施行した新生児の舌根部囊胞の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　We reported a case of a congenital cyst arising in the base of tongue in a newborn. A 1-month-old male infant presented with inspiratory stridor and chest retraction. Fiberscopy and CT revealed a cyst at the midline of the base of tongue. He underwent transoral fenestration of the cyst. However,his symptoms redeveloped 8 days after surgery,and a recurrent lesion was found by CT. We again performed transoral marsupialization of the cyst. Postoperative clinical course was uneventful,and the patient was free from disease 7 months after the second surgery. Etiopathology,diagnosis and treatment of congenital cysts in the base of the tongue were bibliographically reviewed.
