鼻腔軟骨肉腫の1例

A Case of Chondrosarcoma of the Nasal Cavity

I．はじめに

　頭頸部領域に発生する悪性腫瘍は癌腫がほとんどであり，肉腫の占める割合は少なく，中でも軟骨肉腫は0.2％と稀である^1）。

　今回われわれは，鼻腔原発の軟骨肉腫を経験し，手術治療後約5年間にわたり再発なく，良好な経過が得られた症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Chondrosarcoma is infrequently found in the head and neck region. A 48-year-old female patient presented with recurrent nasal bleeding. CT scan and MRI disclosed a mass in the left nasal cavity with extension to the left ethmoid sinus. The tumor was extirpated completely by lateral rhinotomy,and the diagnosis of chondrosarcoma of the nasal cavity was confirmed pathologically. The patient has remained free of disease five years after the surgery.
