急性副鼻腔炎から発生した眼窩骨膜下膿瘍の1例

A Case of Subperiosteal Orbital Abscess due to Acute Sinusitis

I．はじめに

　小児期における眼窩内合併症の原因の多くは急性副鼻腔炎由来であり，それは幼小児期の副鼻腔の形態的特徴によるものであるといわれている^1）。今回われわれは，急性副鼻腔炎から発生した右眼窩骨膜下膿瘍の1例を経験した。術前に抗菌薬とステロイド薬を十分に使用し，早期の手術療法が効果的であった。また，術後の効果判定に金属線入りのガーゼを用い有用であったので，文献的考察を加え報告する。

A ten-year-old female had acute sinusitis and developed subperiosteal orbital abscess. In spite of antibiotics and steroid treatment,inflammation extended into the orbital cellulites. The patient complained of disturbance of eye movement and visual disorder. We performed endoscopic sinus surgery（ESS）for the ethmoidal sinusitis,and endoscopic dranage of the subperiosteal orbital abscess and insertion of a dranage gauze with metal line were performed.
