喉頭蓋より発生した異所性振子様扁桃の1症例

A Case of Ectopic Pendulous Tonsil in Epiglottis

I．はじめに

　異所性扁桃とは，Waldayerの咽頭輪に属する口蓋扁桃，舌扁桃，咽頭扁桃，耳管扁桃以外に認められた扁桃組織のことであり，過去に報告例が散見される^1～5）。また，振子様扁桃は扁桃が振子状に発育する形態異常であり，1885年にJurasz^6）が初めて報告して以来，本邦でも多数報告されているが，その大多数は口蓋扁桃より発生したものである。

　今回われわれは，喉頭蓋から発生した異所性振子様扁桃の1症例を経験したので報告する。

A 67-year-old male presented with an ectopic pendulous tonsil in epiglottis. He was complaining of adynophagia and laryngeal discomfort. Laryngeal fiberscopic exmination revealed a mass located beside the right aryepiglottic fold. Laryngomicrosurgery was performed to remove the tumor and we found it was arisen from the epiglottis. The histopathological diagnosis was pendulous tonsil. After extirpation,the clinical symptoms were disappeared.
