  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

We sent out a questionnaire to 245 persons registered in our Low Vision Clinic regarding their vision-related daily life. Response was obtained from 106 persons (43%). The findings showed the necessity to put adequate items in the questionnaire including grading of visual impairment and actual needs for low-vision care. It was also necessary to take the life styles and ages of low-vision persons into consideration. Residual vision could be better evaluated by using visual efficiency as parameter. Questionnaire studies on the daily life of low-vision persons ought to include adequate items depending on the actual objectives.
