　増殖糖尿病網膜症に併発した血管新生緑内障8例9眼に対するKrasnov式濾過手術岩田変法の眼圧への効果を検討した。全例にマイトマイシンCを併用した。年齢は58.7±11.4歳，経過観察期間は10.7±10.6か月，術前眼圧は26.2±5.8mmHgであった。術後眼圧が点眼の有無にかかわらず21mmHg以下の場合をコントロール良好とした。7眼（78％）がコントロール良好であり，これら7眼での眼圧は，術後3か月で10.1±4.3mmHg,6か月で12.3±5.8mmHg,12か月で10.6±2.5mmHgであった。本術式が血管新生緑内障に対して有効であることを示す所見である。

We evaluated the effect of modified trabeculectomy for neovascular glaucoma secondary to proliferative diabetic retinopathy in 9 eyes of 8 patients. All the eyes received additional mitomycin C. The ages averaged 58.7±11.4 years. The follow-up period averaged 10.7±10.6 months. The preoperative intraocular pressure (IOP) averaged 26.2± 5.8mmHg. The postoperative IOP was well controlled below 21mmHg in 7 eyes (78%) . The TOP in these 7 eyes averaged 10.1±4.3mmHg at 3 months after surgery, 12.3±5.8mmHg at 6 months, and 10.6 ± 2.5mmHg at 12 months. The findings show the efficacy of this surgical modality for neovascular glaucoma.
