  • Look Inside

A 36-year-old male developed Harada disease with peripapillary edema. Systemic treatment with massive corticosteroid resulted in clinical cure without complications. The fundus showed typical sunset glow appearance thereafter. Bilateral Harada disease recurred 14 years later with iridocyclitis, serous retinal detachment and choroidal detachment. The condition was brought to cure by systemic massive corticosteroid. This case illustrates that Harada disease may recur after a long interval follwing initial cure.
