　片眼にひょうたん型眼球を呈したAicardi症候群の1例を報告した。症例は生後6日の女児。右眼は小眼球で瞳孔膜遺残を伴っており、眼底は全網膜剥離の状態であった。左眼眼底には乳頭の拡大と陥凹が認められ，後極部に斑状の網脈絡膜病変が散在し，螢光眼底撮影ではwin—dow defectによる過螢光を呈した。MRI検査にて脳梁欠損を認め，右眼はひょうたん型を呈していた。これは乳頭周囲ぶどう腫によるものと考えられた。

A 6-year-old girl presented with small eyeball with persistent pupillary membrane in her right eye. The retina was totally detached. The left eyeshowed coloboma of the optic disc and disseminat-ed chorioretinal lesions. Fluorescein angiography showed hyperfluorescence due to window defect. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed agenesis of corpus callosum and hourglass-shaped eyeball in the right eye. This deformity of the eyeball was thought to be the consequence of per-ipapillary staphyloma.
