帯状疱疹ウイルスによる片眼性の急性ぶどう膜炎で網膜血管炎を伴った12歳と14歳の女児を治療した。全身的にアシクロビルを用いた。1例は全網膜剥離に至ったが，他の1例は治療に反応し，視力障害を残さずに治癒した。
We treated unilateral acute uveitis secondary to herpes zoster virus infection in two girls aged 12 and 14 years. Retinal vascularitis was also present. Systemic acyclovir was promptly administered. One eye responded to the treatment and was cured with intact visual acuity. The other case resulted in total retinal detachment.
