インターフェロン投与患者にみられた網膜血管障害

Retinal vascular lesions in patients under systemic interferon therapy

　インターフェロン投与患者45例に眼底検査を行い，18例40％に網膜病変を認めた。眼底所見は綿花様白斑が全例にあり，10例は網膜出血を伴っていた。自覚症状は少なく，視力は全例0.7以上であった。眼底病変はインターフェロン投与開始後2週間から5か月で出現し，投与中止後，軽減消失した。高頻度に眼底に病変をきたしたため，インターフェロン投与患者では定期的な眼底検査が必要と考えられた。

We examined 45 patients who were receiving systemic interferon for 8 to 24 weeks. Retinal vascular lesions were detected in 18 cases. All the 18 cases showed cottonwool spots and 10 cases showed, additionally, retinal hemorrhages. The visual acuity was 0.7 or better in all the cases. These fundus lesions tended to develop after 2 weeks to 5 months after initiation of interferon therapy. They disappeared spontaneously after discontinuation of the therapy.
