正常眼圧緑内障患者18例30眼を対象として,黄斑部機能に関与すると思われる乳頭耳側の網膜神経線維層の変化と固視点近傍の視野閾値との関連をhigh pass resolution perimetry (HRP)と光弁別閾値視野(DLS)であるHumphrey自動視野とで比較検討した。HRPと神経線維層高レンジ幅とは有意に相関した(p=0.02)が,DLSでは有意な相関がなかった。これより,固視点近傍の網膜感度閾値は乳頭耳側神経線維層の平坦化と相関し,HRPでよく反映されることがわかった。
We evaluated the paracentral visual field and the temporal peripapillary nerve fiber layer in 30 eyes of 18 patients with normal tension glaucoma. An automated perimeter by Humphrey was used to perform high-pass resolution perimetry (HRP) and to determine differential light sensitivity (DLS). HRP was positively correlated with flatness of the temporal peripapillary nerve fiber layer loss (p=0.02). DLS was not correlated with the latter. The findings show that the retinal sensitivity in the parafoveal area is related with the peripapillary nerve fiber layer loss as shown by HRP.
