眼球摘出に至った脈絡膜血管腫

A case of choroidal hemangioma necessitating enucleation

　初診時，既に網膜全剥離を伴った脈絡膜血管腫に対し，腫瘍表面にアルゴンレーザー光凝固を施行し，長期に経過観察した。経過中，腫瘍の大きさ，網膜剥離は改善せず，結局，初診後6年8か月して，続発緑内障のため眼球摘出に至った。その病理組織は脈絡膜血管腫に特徴的であった。

A 60-year-old male presented with solitary choroidal hemangioma and total retinal detachment.Argon laser photocoagulation failed to induce regression of the tumor and retinal detachment. The eye had to be enucleated 6 years and 8 months after the initial diagnosis due to neovascular glaucoma. Histological features were compatible with choroidal hemangioma.
