Hemangioma of the Choroid

緒言

　脈絡膜血管腫は，1868年にLeber^1）がcaver—nous sarcomaとして報告しているが，明確なものとしては1879年のPanas and Remy^2）の報告が最初である。以後数多くの報告があり，多くの人々により述べられているように，いわゆるEncephalotrigeminal Angiomatosis （Sturge—Weber Syndrome）の場合は臨床診断が容易であるが，脈絡膜血管腫が孤立して存在する場合の診断，特に悪性黒色腫Malignant melanomaとの鑑別診断はきわめて困難である。本稿では顔面の血管腫および中枢神経症状を伴わない孤立性の脈絡膜血管腫と思われる症例に関するわれわれの経験を報告する。

This paper reports a case of hemangioma of the choroid with special reference to fluorescein angiographic findings of preretinal phase and result of photocoagulation and diathermy coagu-lation. A 34-year-old man developed metamor-phopsia of the right eye two years ago and was noted to have central serous chorioretinitis. He was treated over a year without effect. In May, 1971, he was told to have malignant tumor in the macula in his right eye. The patient was referred to us on May 4, 1971. Ocular exemi-nation revealed the left eye to be free of disease with normal vision.
