レーザー光凝固で治癒した視神経乳頭上網膜血管腫の2例

Two cases of optic disc hemangioma cured by photocoagulation

　視神経乳頭上網膜血管腫の2例に対し色素レーザー，波長577nmで血管腫の直接光凝固を低出力長時間で反復して行い，何ら合併症なく，腫瘍の縮小，黄斑部網膜剥離の消退など良好な結果を得た。このような弱凝固の反復凝固は視神経乳頭上網膜血管腫の治療に有効と思われた。

We treated hemangioma of the optic disc in 2 females aged 38 and 68 years each. Hemangioma was unilateral in both cases. Retinal detachmentwas present involving the fovea. We applied dye laser beam of 577nm directly to the hemangioma at weak intensity. Repeated laser application resulted in reduction in the size of the hemangioma and disappearance of retinal detachment. We recom-mend repeated laser coagulation at low power output in treating hemangioma of the optic disc as it is effective, safe and free of complications.
