三歳児健康診査における眼科健診15年間の結果について

Review of fifteen years of ophthalmic checkup for three-year-old children

　三歳児眼科健診15年間（1975〜1989年）の結果について報告する。

　問診票とラ環単一視標を対象家庭に郵送，回収して健診対象者を抽出した。問診票の回収総数は77,335通（回収率73.3％）で，眼科要健診者総数は3,057名，そのうち受診して検査したのは1,754名であった。

　1,754名中斜視は164名で，その年次推移をみると5年前から漸減傾向がみられた。

　調節麻痺下で屈折検査を行った者は688名1,372眼で，その約80％が遠視および遠視性乱視であった。家庭ならびに健診時の視力検査可能率を比較すると健診時のほうが約50％検査可能者が増加した。

This is a review of annual ophthalmic checkup of 3-year-old children during the past 15 years from 1975 through 89. A questionnaire and visual acuity test chart were mailed to parents of 3-year-old children. Out of the 77,335 forms returned, which show a retrieval rate of 73.3%, 3,057 children were judged to be in need of further ophthalmological examinations. A total of 1,754 actually showed upfor examination. Of these 1,754, strabismus was present in 164 children. Refractometry and cyclo-plegia were conducted in 688 and resulted in detec-tion of hyperopia and hyperopic astigmatism in about 80%. Accurate visual acuity testing was possible in more numerous children in medical insti-tutions than at home at the ratio of 3 to 2.
