要約 目的:学校検診での異常を契機として発見された自覚症状がないCoats病2例の報告。
症例:それぞれ7歳と12歳男児で,1例は学校検診で眼位異常,他の1例は片眼の視力低下を指摘された。いずれも患眼の矯正視力は良好で,眼底周辺部に網膜下の滲出と網膜血管異常があった。両症例ともCoats病と診断し,網膜光凝固を行った。
結論:今回の2症例では,学校検診での異常を契機としてCoats病が発見され,早期治療を行うことができた。
Abstract Purpose: To report 2 cases of asymptomatic Coats disease that was detected following routine health check at the primary school.
Cases: Both were boys aged 7 and 12 years respectively. One showed heterotropia and the other showed impaired visual acuity in one eye during health check at the primary school. Both cases were unilaterally affected with good corrected visual acuity in the involved eye. Both cases showed subretinal exudate and abnormal retinal vessels. The findings were typical for Coats disease. Both cases received retinal photocoagulation.
Conclusion: Coats disease was detected and treated in its early stage after routine health check program at the primary school.
