フラビタン錠の眼科的使用経験

Use of Systemic FAD (Flavitan) in Ophthalmology

I．緒言

　FADは最終的酵素型であるため，結膜，角膜，ブドー膜，網膜の代謝賦活への効率が大であることは，いまさら論をまたない。したがつて点眼，軟膏，結膜下注射として，眼瞼疾患，角膜疾患に，球後注射，頸動脈注射として，中心性網膜炎，網膜色素変性などの網膜疾患に，局所投与としての意味で投与され，良い治療成績を得ている。われわれ，テノン氏嚢内注射による眼精疲労の治療を報告したが，今回内服としてのフラビタン錠（FAD5mg含有）の使用の機会を得たので報告する。

FAD tablets (Flavitan) were perorally admi-nistered to 76 cases with various ophthalmolo-gical diseases based upon the supposition that FAD, a coenzyme of yellow enzyme, will bring about activated metabolism of ocular tissues including conjunctiva, cornea, uvea and the re-tina. As the standard dosis 15 mg of FAD was administered daily in 3 divided dosis.

1. Out of 33 patients with various retinal diseases, beneficial results set in in 21 cases.Curative effect of FAD was particularly notice-able in serous central chorioretinitis and thrombo-sis of the central retinal vein.
