We reviewed the image-display method of ultra-sonographic equipments used in clinical ophthal-mology. The image formation by scan-converter is an effective means in supplementing the quantity of the information. It is advocated that the diagnosis be made within two scannings for intraocular con-ditions because of the interposing ocular motion and mechanical swing. More than two scannings are allowed for retrobulbar images. The negative image display is of value in allowing higher detect-ing rate of finer changes. Use of pseudorelief technique is effective because of its quasi-stereo-scopic view.
