「全身条件別眼圧」実用化の試み

A new trial for the clinical application of "systemically conditioned intraocular pressure"

　愛知県総合保健センター外来人間ドックを1973年1月から1977年12月までに受診した合計94,000人（188,000眼）から作製した全身条件別眼圧表を基礎資料とし眼圧予測式を作製した．これはパーソナルコンピューターまたはポケットコンピューターを用い全サンプルを性別，収縮期血圧別，肥満度別に層別化したものにつき血圧と年齢の一次回帰式を求めプログラムに組込んだものである．実際には症例毎に，性，年齢，収縮期血圧，身長，体重を入力することで条件に応じた予測眼圧値（M），予測上限値（M＋2SD）がグラフィック・ディスプレーまたはデジタルでプリントアウトされるものである．

Prediction equations of intraocular pressure (IOP) were drawn on the basis of "Systemically conditioned IOP table" which were obtained from approximately 94,000 subjects (188,000 eyes) who underwent tests of automated multiphasic health testing system in our institution during 1973 to 1977. The first-order regression equations of IOP withrespect to age were obtained on the samples stratified as to sex, systolic blood pressure (SBP) and obesity index.

In practice, using personal or pocket computer, predicted IOP (M) and the upper limit (M+2SD) can be obtained by graphic display of digital print-out when a sequential input is made indicating sex, age, SBP, height and weight in particular case.
