Ocular toxocariasisの特徴を示し,臨床的に診断した5症例を報告した。特にsolitary granuioma型の螢光眼底所見の特徴を示し,本症の臨床的診断基準の一つとなりうるものと考える。
We observed 5 cases with acute ocular involve-ment due to Toxocara canis. It occurred either as solitary granuloma in the fundus (2 adult females and a 15-year-old girl), papillitis with juxtapapillar retinitis (1 adult female) and as acute endophthal-mitis (1 10-year-girl). In one of the cases, the granuloma was located nasoinfeior to the optic disc. This feature seemed to be an unsual one as no such instance has been reported in Japan.
Fluorescein angiography of the granulomatous lesion showed masking of choroidal fluorescence during the early phase.
