  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The case of intra-ocular nematode infesta-tion from which the larvae of Toxocara canis had actually been demonstrated was reported. This case (a girl aged 8.5 years) was clini-cally diagnosed as retinoblastoma and later histologically as chronic endophthalmititis in association with retinal exudation and angii-tis.

Therefore, it was emphasized that ocular Toxocara infestation should be cosidered in the differential diagnosis of pseudoglioma and of chronic endophthalmitis in the infant.
