周辺虹彩切除とトラベクロトミーの合併手術の成績

Surgical results of peripheral iridectomy adjunct to trabeculotomy

　原発慢性閉塞隅角緑内障の症例にGrote^1）のtranstrabecular iridectomyの変法を施行し，76％の眼圧コントロールを得ることができた。本法は原発慢性閉塞隅角緑内障で既にかなり病勢の進行したものには適切な術式であると考えられた。術後合併症に重篤なものはなく，combined mechanism glaucomaやopen angle glaucoma with narrowangle componentsの症例にも適応されてよいものと考えられる。

We treated 34 eyes with primary chronic angle-closure glaucoma by performing trabeculotomy with peripheral iridectomy. The procedure is a modification of transtrabecular iridectomy by Grote in 1975.

Satisfactory control in intraocular pressure re-sulted in 26 eyes (76%) with no serious postsurgi-cal complications. This technique is recommended for advanced cases of primary chornic angle-closure glaucoma as well as for those with combined-mechanism glaucoma and open-angle glaucoma with narrow-angle components.
