白内障手術後の角膜乱視変化について—8-0デキソンおよびナイロン使用

Corneal astigmatism following cataract surgery.: Evaluation of polyglycolic acid and nylon sutures

（1）デキソンおよびナイロンを用いて白内障手術を行い，術後の乱視変化を，ケラトメーターおよびブラチド写真により経過観察した。

（2）デキソンを用いた例では，術後3〜6週頃に大きく倒乱視化し，8週頃に倒乱視側で収束した。

（3）ナイロンを用いた例では，乱視変化は軽微であり，一定の規則性を認めなかった。

（4）デキソンの場合の変化は，糸の融解吸収過程と一致し，糸の吸収時に創癒着は未完成であり，創接合部に弛みを生ずると考えた。

Tempral change of the corneal astigmatism after cataract extraction was examined by using kerato-meter and placidoscope. Difference owing to the material of the suture was compared. Forty cases were sutured with 8-0 Dexon (Polyglycolic acid) interruptedly, and eleven cases were sutured with 9-0 or 10-0 nylon continuously. The corneal as-tigmatism was expressed on double cordinate of vector function.
