老人にみられる滲出性網膜血管症

Senile exudative angiopathy of the retinal

　7例の老人にみられる滲出性網膜血管症を観察したが，本症の臨床的特徴は以下のようなものであることが明らかになった。

（1）本症は60歳以上の老人にみられ，女性に多い傾向があった。

（2）本症の眼底所見は透過性亢進を伴う網膜血管炎・硬性白斑・滲出斑・出血・小血管瘤・macroaneurysm・動静脈吻合・硝子体病変などであり，病変は網膜全体に及び，特定の分枝領域に限局することはなかった。

（3）臨床的にはCoats病と類縁関係があり，本症の発病においては老人性血管変化が何らかの役割を果たしていると推測された。

（4）糖尿病性網膜症・円板状黄斑変性症・網膜静脈分枝閉塞症・網膜静脈（周囲）炎・その他の網膜血管炎などとの鑑別が必要であった。

（5）治療には光凝固法がもっとも適当であると考えられた。

Seven cases of senile exudative angiopathy of the retina were observed and the following findings and characteristics were obtained. The disease was found in patients over 60 years of age and in females predominantly. The course of the disease was chronic and slowly progressive. The findings of the ocular fundus were retinal vasculitis with ab-normal permeability, hard exudates, exudative patches, hemorrhages, microaneurysms, macroaneu-rysms of arteries, arteriovenous anastomoses and vitreous involvements. These lesions were distribu-ted all over the retina and not restricted in one quadrant.
