Glycerol （CG-A30）の眼圧下降効果について

Ocular hypotensive effect of intravenously administered glycerol (CG-A30)

　（1） Glycerol （CG-A30）500mlを正常者33例50眼，緑内障患者11側13眼に点滴静注し，全例に眼圧下降作用を認めた。正常者の平均眼圧下降率は53.5％，続発性緑内障を除く緑内障患者では60.2％で，15〜20％mannitol，およびフルクトンM₃とほぼ同程度の眼圧下降率を得た。

　（2）正常者では点滴速度が90〜120分間では，眼圧下降率，および最低眼圧に達する時間に差が認められなかつた。

　（3） Rebound現象は正常者には見られず，単性緑内障，急性緑内障各1眼，計2眼に認められた。

　（4）糖尿病患者3例に本製剤投与後，明かな血糖増加を認めた以外，問題となる副作用は認めなかつた。

We evaluated the ocular hypotensive effect of Glycerol (CG-A30) which contains 10 w/v% glyce-rol, 5 w/v% fructose and 0.9 w/v% sodium chloride. We gave 500 ml of Glycerol to glaucoma patients (13 eyes) and 33 normotensive subjects (50 eyes) prior to cataract surgery through intra-venous route. Recordings were made on the possible effect on the blood pressure, pulse rate, blood com-ponents and the urine. The duration of intravenous infusion was 90 or 120 minutes for nonglaucomatous subjects, 90 minutes for simple glaucoma and 120 minutes for acute angle-closure glaucoma patients.
