眼科高圧酸素療法の研究（第1報）—切迫性網膜循環不全に対する応用

Hyperbaric oxygenation therapy in ophthalmology.: Part 1 Incipient insufficiency of retinal circulation

　激症型大動脈炎症候群，眼窩腫瘍，頸動脈−海綿静脈洞瘻などで網膜動脈圧の低下，網膜静脈の怒張，うつ滞，網膜の浮腫，混濁などをおこし，放置すると重篤な網膜機能障害が予想される状態を"切追性網膜循環不全"とし，この時期の高圧酸素療法が臨床的意義の高いことを報告した。

　"切迫性網膜循環不全"に対しては，高圧酸素療法に抗凝固剤，線溶酵素剤などを併用する療法は，手術などによつて血流の改善が期待されるまでの黄斑部機能維持に対する緊急補助的手段として有意義である。

Six eases of insufficient retinal circulation were treated with hyperbaric oxygenation (OHP; 2.8 ATA, pure oxygen). Visual acuity examination,fundus photography and fluorescein fundus angio-graphy were performed before and after OHP. The therapy was found effective in three cases. These cases had decrease of retinal artery pressure, venous tortuosity and dilatation and retinal edema, and severe retinal damage was anticipated if they were left alone without any therapeutic measure.
