Paecilomyces lilacinusによる眼炎の1例

Oculomycosis caused by Paecilomyces lilacinus

緒　言

　近年真菌症の増加が注目を集め，検出される真菌も非常に多岐にわたる傾向にある。眼科領域においても，Aspergillus, Candida, Fusarium等を初めとして，種々の真菌のOpportunistic infectionを起した症例が報告されている。私たちはこの度やはりその範疇に属するものとして，Paecilomyceslilacinusによる眼炎を経験したので報告する。眼真菌症より本菌が分離されたのは本邦では初例と思われる。

This paper describes a case of oculomycosis by Paecilomyces lilacinus (Thom) Samson, to ba reported for the first time in Japan. A 45-year-old female suffered from a scratch in her left eye by a pampas grass. and local pain, irritation and lacrimation developed. Several round and white keratic precipitates and turbid aqueous were observed at the medical examination of two months later. The condition first responded toantibiotics and corticosteroid but soon it worsend developing into hypopyon and corneal abscess. Anterior chamber tap on two occasions showed the presence of P. lilacinus.
