A case of sympathetic ophthalmia following perforation of the left eye in a 44 year-old manis reported. He complained of right blurred vision 28 days after the injury, and the inflammation did not respond to either systemic or topical steroid therapy. The left eye was enucleated 52 days after the injury. Despite the enucleation, the inflammation had advanced. Finally, it res-ponded to more dosage of systemic steroid.

The pathological findings were as follows : In-filtration of lymphocytes and plasma cells was observed in the iris, ciliary body and choroid.
