Cycloscopic features of pseudo-exfoliation syndrome

緒　言

　pseudo-exfoliation syndromeは，臨床的にしばしばglaucomaを伴い，その原因については種々の議論のあるところである。一方，pseudo-exfo-liation （以下PEと略す） materialの本態についても臨床上のみならず形態学上からも多数の研究がなされ水晶体，虹彩，毛様体附近の形態は，電顕的にもほぼ確立されているが^1〜9），PE materialのsourceに関してはまだ解決されていない現状である。

　このPE materialは，臨床的には通常，水晶体前面ならびに瞳孔縁に認められるが，虹彩切除の部より毛様体や毛様体小帯にもPE materialの附着を認めた報告もある^10〜11）。しかし非手術眼における毛様体の変化についての報告はまだなされていないため，今回はこの点を中心にしてPEsyndrome 18例についてcycloscopyによる毛様体観察を行ない，更に本症患者の手術時に得られた水晶体，虹彩，毛様体，線維柱帯を電顕ならびに組織化学的に検討し，今まで本疾患についてほとんど言及されていなかつた毛様体および毛様体小帯の変化，さらにPE materialのsourceにつき興味ある知見を得たので報告する。

We made cycloscopic observation in 22 eyes with pseudo-exfoliation syndrome. We also con-ducted histochemical and electron microscopic observations of the lens, iris, ciliary process and the trabecular meshwork obtained during surgery in 6 eyes with the syndrome.

When observed with cycloscopy, pseudoexfolia-tive materials were present on the ciliary processesand the zonular bundles in all the 22 eyes. In the fellow eyes of unilateral pseudo-exfoliation syn-drome, pseudoexfoliative materials were present on the ciliary processes in spite of apparently normal lens surface and pupillary margin.
