緒 言
exfoliation syndrome （以下，本症と略）には，前眼部所見の上では片眼性の症例がみられる。著者は，本症罹患眼の房水動態を検討し，本症では房水産生が正常眼と比べて増加しているという成績を得ている1）。今回は，片眼性の本症について，その罹患眼と非罹患眼との間で房水動態の比較をおこなつたので，その成績について報告する。
The exfoliation syndrome is often found to be unilateral. I ascertained the mean inflow of aqueous humor to be 1.44±0.09μl per minute in 53 eyes with the exfoliation syndrome, and 1.14±0.08μl in 100 normal control-eyes. There is a significant increase in eyes with the syn-drome by the t-test (P<0.01). I compared the aqueous-humor dynamics between the two eyes of unilateral exfoliation-syndrome patients.
Sixteen patients with the unilateral exfoliation syndrome were tested for this study.
