特異な経過をたどつた転移性脈絡膜腫瘍の1例

A Case of Metastatic Carcinoma or Choroid with Unusual Clinical Course

緒　言

　脈絡膜を初めとして眼内の転移性腫瘍は日常診療において遭遇する機会は決して多くない。加えて全身的に腫瘍が発見されている時は転移を疑うことは比較的容易であるが，網膜剥離のごとき所見のみの場合は診断が難しい。

　今回，われわれは網膜剥離と思われた症例に転移性脈絡膜腫瘍を認め，不幸な転帰をとった症例を経験したので報告する。本症例は最後まで転移性の眼内腫瘍があることが診断できず，いわゆる誤診例であるがその臨床経過および病理所見を報告し，反省の具に供したい。

This paper presents clinicopathological features of a 44-year-old female with metastatic carcinoma of the choroid in her right eye. The right eye that had developed sudden visual loss was initial-ly diagnosed as central serous retinopathy. Three months later, the condition developed into ex-tensive nonrhegmatogenous retinal detachment with vitreous opacity. Scleral infolding surgery was performed based on absence of detectable signs of uveitis or metastatic tumor from thelung or breast. The retina failed to reattach following the surgery.
