吾々は第9報に於て,老年者の交叉現象の頻度が,70歳台に於て,60歳台に比して却つて低下する現象を指摘し,このような現象の成因を,人間ドツクの如き健康診断に伴なう特殊な要因と,血管の老年性変化の如き一般的要因との2つの面から考察した。
今回は被検者の屈折状態と動静脈交叉現象との関係に就て記したいと思う。
As has been noted on the previous paper (Report 9), the relationship between the con-ditions of refraction and arteriolar sclerosis in the retina seems to be worth studying. In this connection, 557 persons of middle and old age including 95 cases of systemic hyperte-nsion were observed. Results obtained were as follows :
(1) Arterio-venous crossing phenomenon as a whole was less frequent in the group of myopia (42.3%) compared with that of hypermetropia (55.0%).
