  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

On 296 cases who admitted to the eye service for the purpose of a close physical exami-nation, the authors investigated a relationship among a grade of arteriolar sclerosis in the retina diagnosed with the change of arterio-venous crossing, a lipid level in the blood, and body weight.

On each group classifid by arteriolar sclerosis, a fat person show a high lipid level in the blood in compare with a emaciated, normal person, however on each group classi-fied by body weight, an enhancement of the grade of arteriolar sclerosis in the retina does not attribute to that of lipid level in the blood.
