眼窩及び眼底に病変を認めた多発性骨髄腫の1例

A case of multiple myeloma accompanied with ocular changes

まえがき

　比較的稀な疾患とされる多発性骨髄腫は，腫瘍細胞が形質細胞である点，その特異な血液所見のために内科，病理，殊に血液病関係では非常に興味ある疾患として多くの報告をみるが，眼科領域で取扱われることは少く，殊に我が国では2例の報告^1）2）をみるのみである。最近典型的な1症例を経験したので報告する。

The patient, 70-year-old man, complained of right proptosis, small tumor on the right frontal region and general fatigue.

Results of clinical examinations were as follows : X-ray showed multiple punched out rearfaction of the skull, right humerus, and right clavicle. Blood sedimentation rate was extremely accelerated. Blood serum protein was 9 gr/dl, and electrophoretically revealed typical gammamyeloma type. Bence-Jones proteinuria in urine was doubtful but paper-electrophoretically dysproteinuria was proved.
