  • Look Inside

A 31-year-old woman who had her syndrome with typical tonic pupil in the right eye is described. The pupil reacts very slowly and usually seems dilated when compared with that of the fellow eye. After 25 seconds of convergence, the tonic pupil becomes smaller than its fellow. Under the slit lamp the constriction of the tonic pupil is not observed. The pupil reacts promptly and fully to mydriactics (atropine and cocaine) and miotics (pilocarpine and eserine).
