  • Look Inside

The initial processes occurred in pupillary dilatation during the change from light (3000 rlx and 300rlx) to dark adaptation were investigated by means of iufrared noctovision

(1) Incubation time before the onset of mydriasis was 0.4003 secs. under the light of 3000 rlx. and 0.3980 secs. under 300rlx., which were not different each other significantly.

(2) The initial diameter of the pupil was smaller under 3000rlx., than under 300rlx., while the speed of pupillary dilatation toward its maximum was higher in the former.
