眼感染症におけるボンナマイシン（Doxycycline）の眼内移行ならびに臨床的検討

Ocular Penetration and Clinical Evaluation of Doxycycline

緒言

　Doxycycline （DOTC）は，1962年，Stephens，C．R．ら^1）によつて合成されたTetracycline系誘導体である。その特徴は，経口投与後の吸収率がきわめて高く，1日1回の少量投与で長時間有効血中濃度が持続し，かつ組織への親和性が従来のTCに比べて非常に高いことである。

　本剤は臨床上，各科領域の感染症の治療にすぐれた効果がみとめられており，私どもは眼感染症に対する基礎的，臨床的検討成績についてすでに報告したところである^2）。

The results of laboratory, especially intraoc-ular penetration, and clinical evaluation for ocular infections of Bonnamycin (Doxycycline, DOTC) were summerized an follows.

1) The distribution of the sensitivity for 20 strains of Staph. aureus, isolated from eye infections, was in the range of≦0.19~25μg/ ml, and majorities of them were in both of ≦ 0.39 and 6. 25~12.5/μg /ml.

2) Serum concentration of DOTC in healthy adults by oral administration of a single dose of 200mg showed peak level after 2 hours, and measurable levels were presented in serum after 24 hours.
