緑膿菌性眼感染症における新セファロスポリン剤，Cefoperazoneの臨床的評価

Clinical evaluation of new cephalosporin, Cefoperazonc for pseudomonas ocular infections

　緑膿菌性眼感染症5例に対して，新しいセファロスポリン，Cefoperazone （T−1551）を全身，局所投与して臨床効果を検討した。

　緑膿菌性角膜潰瘍の4例には，すぐれた臨床効果がみとめられた。全眼球炎の1例は眼球内容除去術を行ったが，硝子体内細菌数の減少がみられた。

　副作用として，3例に発疹がみられた。その他，検血，肝腎機能検査値に異常をみとめなかった。

Four cases of pseudomonas corneal ulcer were treated with new cephalosporin, Cefoperazone (CPZ) by means of instillation, 50mg~ 100mg subconjunctival injection and drip infusion or intramuscular injection 1~2g once or twice The cli- nical results were excellent in one case and good in 3 cases.

Although a case of pseudomonas panophthalmitis progressed without clinical improvement in spite of treatment with CPZ and evisceration was perform-ed,bacterial count of Ps. acruginosa in the vitreous was decreased.

In 3 eases, rash developed but disappeared promptly after cessation of drug.
