緒言

　視神経萎縮にみられる乳頭は，原疾患によつて特徴ある所見を示すため，従来からいくつかの型に分けられているが，この相違は主として乳頭部に存在する毛細血管のVascularity減少の様式に関係があると考えられる。

　そこで，血管造影を応用し，最近の乳頭血管構築に関する知見を導入して褪色乳頭の微小循環を観察し，この面から原疾患といかなる関連性があるかを追求するために今回の検討を行なつた。

Fluorescein angiography was made in optic disc with pathologic pallor in order to investi-gate the difference of fluorographic capillary pattern. Ninety-five eyes with pale disc were divided into two groups of descending and ascending type.

The former group was composed with orbital apex syndrome (3 eyes), retrobulbar neuritis (22 eyes), simple atrophy (12 eyes), and optic canal fracture (2 eyes), and the latter central artery occlusion (2 eyes), myopic degeneration (46 eyes), and other chorioretinal degeneration (8 eyes).
