Two cases of glaucoma induced by systemic steroid therapy were reported.

Case 1. T. S. a Japanese woman, aged 33, was treated with oral corticosteroid because of syste-mic lupus erythematodes for eight years in De-partment of Dermatology, Sendai Teisin Hospital. For the period of about 6 months, she suffered from blurred vision in both eyes, and was sent to our clinic on July 4, 1969. Ocular tension in both eyes was 51 mmHg (Schioetz). The angle was open. There was posterior subcapsular ca-taract in both eyes. There were deep cupping of the optic disc and marked constraction of the visual field.
